Katy Richardson works with the intersections between
trauma, haunting, mental health and grief. She is interested in
the relationships between things often thought of as bodily:
ritual, movement, voice and sound-making, listening; and
things perhaps more often associated with the mind: altered
states (both invited and otherwise), intuition, time/space
transcendence, journeying, communication. Often inviting
collaboration into her ways of working, she values listening
and discussion as part of her practice - allowing ideas and
themes to develop somewhere in the space between people
and their diverse experiences.
