9. Control unit• The operating elements can be accessed once the transparenthousing cover has been removed. The housingcover may be removed for operational purposes, but it onlymakes sense for service work.• The protective rating given is reduced when the cover isremoved (water-tightness). Before removal, it must bechecked whether there is a hazard through high humidityor splashwater. In this case, the control unit must be switchedvoltage-free first. In case of doubt, a qualified electricianmust always be consulted.• The current set at the motor protection switch must correspondwith the rated current of the connected motor andmust not be adjusted by the operator.• Following operation, the housing cover must be sealedproperly again to guarantee theView of the inside of the switch unit (schematic, not to scale) up to model year 12/091.
