Male (B) to the return connector andfemale (A) to the feed connector on thepower pack. Make sure that the loading valveof the test equipment is fully open.Start the engine (see "Starting the engine").Move the by-pass valve on the power pack tothe ON position.Turn the loading valve, until the gauge showsapprox. 70 bar (1000 psi) and allow thepower pack to warm up for 3-4 minutes.Slowly close the loading valve, until thepressure gauge shows a pressure of 100 bar(1400 psi).Check that the flow is according to the flowrate in the technical specifications.Note! The inaccuracy of the reading on the flowmeter is ±2 l.p.m. (±0.5 US gal/min). If theperformance is not in accordance with thetechnical specifications for the power pack, please see "Troubleshooting".MaintenanceGeneralRegular maintenance is a fundamental prerequisitefor the machine to continue to be safe and efficient.Do not use a machine that is due for regularservice. Rectify any defects found during regularmaintenance before clearing the machine for use.Note! Maintenance must only be done by suitablyqualified and competent persons. Beforedoing any maintenance, make sure that themachine is safe and correctly sited on theground.Daily► Clean and inspect the machine.► Check fuel lines, tank, fuel cap and fittings forcracks or leaks. Replace if necessary.► Check for damage.► Check hydraulic oil level.► Check engine oil level.► Check hydraulic couplings.► Check hydraulic hoses.► Check hydraulic oil filter.Note! When the filter gauge needle remains inthe red sector (while the engine is runningidle and the oil is service warm), the filtermust be replaced. The old filter is removedby turning it clockwise (use a filter strapwrench if necessary). Tilting the power packrearwards will minimise oil spilling. Beforemounting the new filter, it is recommendedto grease the surface of the seal with oil inorder to ease correct tightening of the filter.Note! Check tightness of nuts, bolts, screws andhose fittings after the first days of operationand thereafter in accordance with themaintenance schedule.Note! The engine oil should be replaced after thefirst 8 hours of operation and thereafter inaccordance with the maintenance schedulein the engine manufacturer's operating andmaintenance instructions.© 2007 Atlas Copco Construction Tools AB | No. 3392 5051 81 f | 2007-07-1313
