It is important that any worktool used with the power pack is of a compatiblecategory. If in any doubt, consult your Atlas Copcodealer.Actions before startingThe following checks should be made each timeyou return to the power pack after leaving it fora period of time. All these checks concern theserviceability of the power pack. Some concernyour safety:► Remove dirt <strong>and</strong> debris especially from aroundthe linkages <strong>and</strong> hydraulic oil cooler.► Clean all safety stickers. Replace any that aremissing or cannot be read.► Inspect the power pack <strong>and</strong> hoses generally forsigns of damage.► Check for oil <strong>and</strong> fuel leakages beneath thepower pack.► Check all fastenings.► Make sure the fuel filler cap is tightly closed.► Check the hydraulic oil level <strong>and</strong> add asnecessary.Note! The first time the power pack is started withnew hoses, these will take approx. 1.5 litres(0.4 US gal) of oil to fill up. Add this after thefirst start-up.► Place the power pack in a safe position.► Ensure that the hydraulic couplings are clean<strong>and</strong> fully serviceable.► Ensure that any work tool you plan to use iscompatible with the power pack model used.► Check the engine oil level <strong>and</strong> add oil asnecessary.► Ensure that you have adequate fuel for the job.Top up as necessary, taking care not to overfill.10© 2007 Atlas Copco Construction <strong>Tools</strong> AB | No. 3392 5051 81 f | 2007-07-13
