Trimming the helicoptersAlready shortly before the helicopter takes off, you canrecognize whether it wants to turn or glide in a particulardirection.Correct the deviations from the vertical ascent with the trimslider of the tail function.Tip of the fuselage turns to the right:• Reduce speed and push the trim slider of the tail function onthe left remote control lever stepwise to the left.• Push the pitch-lever forward again and check whether thecorrection was sufficient, if necessary shift the trim further tothe left.• Repeat the process until the helicopter no longer shows atendency to turn to the right.Tip of the fuselage turns to the left:• Proceed as described above, but push the trim slider of thetail function stepwise to the right.GBModel slips (drifts) or tilts to the right:• Reduce the speed and push the trim slider of the rollfunctionof the right remote control lever stepwise to the left.• Push the pitch-lever forward again and check whether thecorrection was sufficient, if necessary shift the trim further tothe left.• Repeat the process until the helicopter no longer shows atendency to drift to the right.Model slips (drifts) ortilts to the right:• Proceed as described above, but push the trim slider of the tailfunction stepwise to theright.Model slips (drifts) forward:• Reduce the speed and push the trim slider of the nickfunction on the right remote control lever stepwisebackwards.• Push the pitch lever forward again and check whether thiswas sufficient for correction, if necessary shift the trimfurther to the left.• Repeat the process until the helicopter no longer shows atendency to drift forwards.Model slips (drifts)backwards:• Proceed as described above, butpush the trim slider of the nickfunction stepwise forward.Mechanical correction of the flightpositionIf the roll and nick-functions do not permit optimization bytrimming, correct the control of the wobble plate by the servos.(1) Control of the nick function(2) Control of the roll function(2)(1)CARSON Helikopter EC-135 Rescue 50 050 703119
