CHECKING BRAKE PADS FOR WEARChecking front brake calliper pads.- Place the motorcycle on the stand.- Visually inspect the state of the brake pads (1) from therear of the calliper;Checking rear brake calliper pads.- Visually inspect the state of the brake pads (2) from therear of the calliper;PAD WEARCheck brake pad wear.Service limit “ A” is: 1 mm (0.04 in).If this limit has been exceeded or even if one of the wearindicators is no longer visible, replace both brake pads.EN1 2PAD CLEANINGBe careful that no brake fluid or any oil gets on brakepads or discs. Clean off with alcohol any fluid or oil thatinadvertently gets on the pads or disc.
