2. In implem<strong>en</strong>ting this partnership, the Parties shall refer to the joint guidance docum<strong>en</strong>t inAnnex I to this Agreem<strong>en</strong>t.3. In the implem<strong>en</strong>tation of this Agreem<strong>en</strong>t, the Parties affirm their commitm<strong>en</strong>t to promote themodernisation of the productive sectors in C<strong>en</strong>tral Africa affected by this Agreem<strong>en</strong>t, by means ofthe cooperation instrum<strong>en</strong>ts set out in Article 7.ARTICLE 6Business <strong>en</strong>vironm<strong>en</strong>tThe Parties consider that the business <strong>en</strong>vironm<strong>en</strong>t is an ess<strong>en</strong>tial vehicle for economicdevelopm<strong>en</strong>t, and that the provisions of this Agreem<strong>en</strong>t are therefore geared towards achieving thiscommon objective. The signatory C<strong>en</strong>tral African States, which are also signatories of theOHADA Treaty (Organisation for the Harmonisation of Business Law in Africa), undertake toapply and implem<strong>en</strong>t the provisions of this Treaty effectively and without discrimination.ARTICLE 7Developm<strong>en</strong>t finance cooperation1. The provisions of the Cotonou Agreem<strong>en</strong>t which relate to economic and regional integrationand cooperation shall be implem<strong>en</strong>ted in order to maximise the b<strong>en</strong>efits provided for in thisAgreem<strong>en</strong>t.<strong>CE</strong>/<strong>PAC</strong>/<strong>en</strong> 12
