INPUT JACK SOCKETAs the name suggests, this jack socket is used to connect your guitar into the amplifier. It isimportant to remember that the use of high quality cables is of paramount importance to obtainthe best and most consistent performance. Although good cables can be relatively expensive, itis without doubt a very worthwhile investment. We recommend Vox cables. Please contact yourdealer if you need assistance selecting a high-quality cable.2. CHANNEL SELECT SWITCHThe front panel toggle switch marked CHANNEL 1/CHANNEL 2 is used to select which channelis going to be selected for use: -CHANNEL 1 is primarily the CLEAN/CRUNCH sounding channel & CHANNEL 2 is for muchheavier and overdriven sounds.The rear mounted FOOTSWITCH jack socket is also available to connect the foot operatedswitching box (VOX VF002) to allow remote channel switching operation.REMEMBER! To use the Footswitch function the Front Panel, the toggle Switch MUST be set to the CHANNEL2 position.The associated Channel LED (Green for Ch1, Red for Ch2) will illuminate when each channel isselected.5
