Avviare il motore e, DA FERMO, lasciarlogirare al minimo aprendo e chiudendo ilgas periodicamente sino a quando si saràcompletamente riscaldato. Entro 3-4minuti, la temperatura del refrigerante avràraggiunto ~ 60° C/140° F.2. Spegnere il motore e lasciarlo raffreddarenaturalmente sino a temperatura ambiente;questo consentirà il corretto assestamentodel pistone nel cilindro.3. Ripetere i cicli 1 e 2 sempre DA FERMO.4. Portare il motore alla normale temperaturad'esercizio. Guidare il motociclo a velocitàmoderata per circa 10 minuti. Ripetere laprocedura di raffreddamentoprecedentemente descritta. EVITAREBRUSCHE ACCELERAZIONI.5. Portare il motore a temperatura d'esercizio.Guidare il motociclo per circa 15 minutipassando gradualmente a velocità piùelevate. Evitare sempre bruscheaccelerazioni.6. Ripetere il ciclo di raffreddamento.7. Anche dopo aver completato il rodaggio,evitare l'apertura completa del gas sino aquando il motore non avrà raggiunto latemperatura d'esercizio.La corretta osservanza di questa proceduradi rodaggio, incrementerà sensibilmente ladurata e le prestazioni del motore.RUNNING INTo obtain the best settling of the enginemoving elements, for driving yourmotorcycle to the best of your capability,run in the engine for several hours,following these procedures:1. FROM STOP POSITION. Start the engineand run at idle, but open the throttleperiodically and briefly until the engine isthoroughly warmed up. Within 3-4 minutesthe coolant temperature will have reachedapproximately 60° C/140° F. (Do not ridethe motorcycle).2. Stop the engine, and let it cool downnaturally until its temperature is equal tothe ambient air temperature. This will allowthe piston to align itself to anyimperfections which might exist at thecylinder wall.3. Repeat steps 1 and 2. (Do not ride themotorcycle).4. Bring the engine up to normal runningtemperature. Ride the motorcycleapproximately 10 minutes at moderatespeeds. Then repeat cool down procedure.AVOID HARD ACCELERATIONS.5. Bring engine up to normal temperature.Ride motorcycle approximately 15 minutesat moderate to high speeds. Again avoidhard accelerations.6.Repeat cool down procedure.7. Full throttle operation must be avoideduntil the engine has reached operatingtemperature, even after the break inprocess is completed.When the above procedure is followedcorrectly, engine durability and performancewill be greatly enhanced.RODAGEAu but d’obtenir un tassement correct deséléments rotatifs moteur pour une correcterodage utilisation du motocicle, il faudraroder le moteur pour quelques heures, selonles instructions données ci-dessous.1. Démarrer le moteur, EN POSITIOND'ARRET, laissez-le tourner au minimum enouvrant et fermant les gaz périodiquementjusq'à ce qu'il soit chaud. En 3 ou 4 minutes,la température du liquide réfrigérant auraatteint environ ~ 60° C/140° F.2. Arrêter le moteur et le laisser refroidirnaturellement jusqu'à température ambiante.Ceci pour un ajustement du piston dans lecylindre.3. Répéter les cycles 1 et 2 toujours AL'ARRET.4. Porter le moteur à température normale defonctionnement. Conduire la motocyclette àune vitesse modérée pendant environ 10mm. Répéter la procédure de refroidissementd'ecrite précédemment. EVITER LESACCELERATIONS BRUSQUES.5. Porter le moteur à température defonctionnement. Conduire la motocyclettependant environ 15 mm en passantprogressivement à des vitesses plus élevées.Eviter les accélérations brusques.6. Répéter le cycle de refroidissement.7. Même une fois le rodage effectué, éviterl'ouverture complète des gaz tant que lemoteur n'a pas atteint sa température defonctionnement.L'observation correcte de cette procédure derodage augmentera sensiblement la durée et laprestation du moteur.86
