18- Lorsque la fourchette est libre, placez-la en position verticale (une dent enhaut, l’autre en bas) et serrez modérément la vis (rappelez-vous le pasinversé) de façon à remettre la fourchette légèrement en friction sur son axe.Attention : la pédale doit toujours être en position dièse jusqu’à ce moment.- Ramenez la pédale en position bémol (position haute), puis remettez lacorde en place et accordez-la.- Passez la pédale, et laissez-là en position altérée pourle réglage final : vous constaterez que la fourchettedonne un petit peu trop de torsion à la corde (voirposition c. du schéma page 15). À l’aide du tournevisque vous aurez à nouveau passé entre les dents de lafourchette, mais sous la corde, ramenez doucement lafourchette dans le sens de diminuer la torsion, jusqu’àce que la note obtenue soit juste.- Revenez en position bémol pour contrôler l’accord dela note, puis passez à nouveau la pédale pour contrôlerla justesse de l’altération. Si le résultat vous convient,serrez fortement la vis afin d’assurer le blocage de la fourchette.- When the disk is free, place it in vertical position (one prong up, theother down) and tighten the screw moderately (remember the left handthreads)—just enough to give the disk some friction on the spindle.
