Solid wood worktops
The worktops are fine sanded by the
manufacturer. A biologically safe wax oil is
then rubbed into the wood fibre. The wax oil
reaches its final hardness after about
14 days. The surface can then come into
contact with foodstuffs and is resistant
to saliva.
Regular care, particularly in areas exposed to
moisture, will guarantee the durability and
faultless appearance of your solid wood
worktop. The wood should occasionally be
treated with a nourishing oil. Superficial
damage can be repaired simply by sanding
the surface and treating it with wax oil.

Wood is a natural product which adjusts to
moisture in the surroundings and absorbs
moisture. Puddles of water on the surface
should therefore be wiped off as quickly as
possible. Marks and stains can be removed
with sanding paper and nourishing oil.
Please do not wipe the worktop with a wet
cloth or sponge, as this will remove the wax
oil from the wood. Please dry the worktop
with a dry cloth (paper towel) if possible.
Should the surface become rough, simply
sand it with fine sandpaper (400 grit) and
apply wax oil. We recommend the purchase
of our care set. The beautiful smooth surface
of the worktop will soon be restored,
leaving it looking like new.

Consejos de cuidado y utilización
Encimeras de madera maciza
Las encimeras se someten en fábrica a un
rectificado fino. A continuación se frota en
las fibras un aceite de cera biológicamente
puro. El aceite de cera tarda aprox. 14 días en
alcanzar su dureza definitiva. Con ello, la
superficie será apta para alimentos y
resistente a la saliva.
El cuidado regular, sobre todo de las zonas
húmedas, garantiza una larga vida útil y un
aspecto inmejorable de la encimera de
madera natural. Para ello, la madera se
debería tratar de vez en cuando con aceite
de conservación. Los daños en la superficie
se pueden eliminar mediante un simple
pulido o tratamiento posterior con aceite de
cera.
La madera es un producto natural que se
adapta al grado de humedad del entorno y
absorbe humedad. Por ello, el agua que se
encuentra sobre los tableros se debería
eliminar cuanto antes. Los bordes y manchas
descoloridas se pueden eliminar con papel
de lija y aceite de conservación. No limpie la
mesa con un paño húmedo o esponjoso. De
esta manera se erosiona el aceite ceroso
aplicado. Haga el favor de limpiar el tablero
con un paño seco (paño de papel). Caso
que la superficie se volviera áspera, puede
pulir el tablero con papel de lija fina
(grano 400) y aplicar después el aceite
ceroso. La encimera adquiere otra vez su
excelente superficie lisa.
