177 CHAPITRE 5 Fe-Ca, par D. Prêt. Pour cette étude, la pyrite a été identifiée à partir de la carte élémentaire du Fe. Les points contenant plus de 50% de Fe ont été identifiés comme de la pyrite. (ii) Afin de mieux identifier les contours des grains de carbonates, nous avons également utilisé l’image MEB en mode BSE. La matrice argileuse étant caractérisée par une certaine quantité de grains micritiques (calcite < µm) et du Ca en cations interfoliaires, les contours des grains de carbonates ne se situent pas à 50% du mélange matrice argileuse-carbonates (Fig. 5.10). En fixant une limite à 50%, les grains de carbonates sont sur-segmentés par rapport à leur position réelle. Une nouvelle borne (≈ 20%) est ainsi définie à partir de l’image MEB en mode BSE, celle-ci est ensuite conservée pour l’ensemble des cartes analysées.
