- Ageing results in an increase in H 2 O 2 and MDA content. A sublinear relationship<br />

existed between water content and H 2 O 2 content, in contrast MDA content did not<br />

significantly enlarge until 0.248 g H 2 O 2 g -1 DW, and then increased strongly. <br />

- There existed a linear relationship between H 2 O 2 content and seed viability, which<br />

was not the case for MDA.
