The goals of the FC² project are:<br />
• To develop the architecture, service infrastructure and technology components enabling the availability of new e-services based<br />
on transparent, privacy-enabled Identity Federation and allowing the seamless interconnection of Circles of Trust (CoT)<br />
• To experiment the resulting platforms on cross-domain application prototypes, involving a combination of e-government,<br />
regional, financial and telecommunication services<br />
• To get lessons form prototype experiments to propose all additional value-elements to consolidate the corresponding identitybased<br />
business ecosystem<br />

The FC² project is made of six workpackages<br />
that will run over three<br />
main phases, according to the following<br />

STATUS<br />
The project has completed the key requirement analysis phase, including<br />
an exhaustive security and ecosystem analysis. A set of<br />
innovative, cross-sector and business-oriented use cases have been<br />
drawn. The project is now entering the main architecture design phase,<br />
that will specify the key components to be developed.<br />
