STORIA
Circa vent’anni fa sono state ideate le prime tele diamantate e Sorma è da
subito protagonista della loro introduzione sul mercato mondiale.
La lunga esperienza nel settore ha permesso a Sorma di sviluppare prodotti
diamantati flessibili per le più diverse applicazioni industriali ed oggi si può
senza dubbio affermare che non esiste settore d’impiego degli abrasivi nel
quale non siano utilizzate con successo le tele diamantate della nostra
azienda.
GESCHICHTE
Die Flexibel-Diamantwerkzeuge sind in den Weltmark vor 20 Jahren getreten
und von Anfang an hat Sorma sofort an Lösungen für den Industriesektor
gedacht.
Unsere Techniker haben verschiedene Produkte gemäß der Verwendung
entwickelt und jetzt kann man behaupten, dass es kein Anwendungsbereich
der flexibeln Schleifmittel gibt, in dem die Diamantwerkzeuge nicht erfolgreich
benutzt werden.
HISTORY
The diamond flexible products appeared in the world market about twenty
years ago and, since the beginning, Sorma has been leader in studying
solutions for the industrial application.
Our engineers have developed diversified products according to the application
and, nowadays, the diamond products are successfully used in all the flexible
abrasives’ applications.

Le tele diamantate Sorma vengono prodotte con le tecnologie più avanzate
in un’unità produttiva certificata ISO 9001. Ogni passo del processo produttivo
è costantemente monitorato per garantire uno standard qualitativo sempre
costante.
La polvere di diamante accuratamente selezionata viene ancorata ad un
supporto estremamente flessibile e al contempo molto resistente.
La deposizione si avvale di due distinte tecnologie che permettono l’ancoraggio
dei cristalli di diamante o Cbn tramite un legante metallico (nickel) oppure
di un polimero ad alta resistenza (resina).

Die Diamantleinen werden mit fortschrittlichen Technologien nach der
ISO-9001-Zertifizierung hergestellt. Jeder Schritt des Herstellungsprozeßes
ist ständig überwacht, um immer hohe Qualitätsstandards zu gewährleisten.
Das sorgfältig ausgewählte Diamantpulver wird in einem biegsamen und
gleichzeitig sehr beständigenTräger verankert.
Die Diamant- und CBN-Kristalle werden durch zwei verschiedene
Technologien fixiert: Metallbindung (Nickel) bzw. hochbeständiges
Polymer (Kunstharz).
TECHNOLOGY
Sorma diamond cloths are produced according to the most advanced
technologies in a ISO9001 certified production unit. Every step of the
manufacturing process is constantly monitored in order to guarantee a
constant quality standard.
The select diamond powder is bonded to an extremely flexible and very
resistant backing. Diamond or Cbn crystals can be anchored by means of
two different technologies, using metal bond (nickel) or a high-resistant
polymer (resin).

Les toiles diamantées Sorma sont produites avec les technologies plus
avancées dans un établissement de production certifié ISO 9001. Toute
phase du processus de production est constamment contrôlée pour assurer
un niveau de qualité toujours constant.
La poussière de diamant, bien sélectionnée, est fixée sur un support
extrêmement flexible et, en même temps, très resistant.
Le dépôt est effectué par deux technologies distinctes qui permettent le
fixage des cristaux de diamant ou Cbn à travers un liant métallique (nickel)
ou bien un polymère à haute resistance (résine).

The diamond is not covering the whole surface; the pattern created by the alternation of diamond and free areas is the result of a careful study.

CARATTERISTICHE
Il diamante è il materiale più duro conosciuto dall'uomo e le sue proprietà
abrasive lo rendono ideale nella lavorazione di materiali extraduri. Ciò
permette alla tela diamantata di lavorare con sforzi di taglio molto bassi e
con asportazioni superiori rispetto a qualsiasi altro abrasivo. Grazie alla sua
flessibilità e alla spaziatura del disegno la tela diamantata è facilmente
ritagliabile con delle normali forbici.
FEATURES
Diamond is the hardest element known; its abrasive action enables an ideal
grinding of hard to process materials. Such a feature allows diamond cloth
tools to perform a more aggressive cutting action than any other abrasive
tool, with little effort. Thanks to its flexibility and to the spacing between the
islands (the design pattern), the diamond cloth can be easily cut with scissors.
EIGENSCHAFTEN
Als der härteste dem Menschen bekannte Stoff besitzt der Diamant mit
seiner Schleifwirkung die am besten geeignete Beschaffenheit zur Bearbeitung
von besonders harten Materialien. Durch diese besondere Eigenschaft
können die aus diamantbeschichtetem Gewebe gefertigte DIAFACE®-
Schleifmittel mit erheblich niedrigerer Schnittkraft und wesentlich höherer
Spanabhebung arbeiten als jedes andere Schmirgelpapier. Aufgrund seiner
Biegsamkeit und der besonderen Oberflächenverteilung der Diamanten kann
das diamantbeschichtete Gewebe mit einer handelsüblichen Schere leicht
zurechtgeschnitten werden.
CARACTÉRISTIQUES
Le diamant est le matériel le plus dur connu par l’homme et ses propriétés
abrasives le rendent idéal dans le travail de matériaux extra-durs. Cela
permet à la toile diamantée de travailler avec des efforts de coupe très bas
et avec des enlèvements supérieures par rapport à n’importe quel autre
abrasif. En outre, grâce à sa flexibilité et à l’espacement du dessin, la toile
diamantée peut être facilement découpée avec des ciseaux.

their ideal hand-size they are suitable for various applications. The gripper is colour
coded for easy grit identification.
