INSTRUCTION ON MOUNTING AND USE<br />
C<strong>on</strong>sult the designs in the fr<strong>on</strong>t pages referenced in the text<br />
by alphabet letters. Closely follow the <str<strong>on</strong>g>instructi<strong>on</strong></str<strong>on</strong>g>s set out<br />
in this manual. All resp<strong>on</strong>sibility,for any eventual<br />
inc<strong>on</strong>veniences, damages or fires caused by not complying<br />
with the <str<strong>on</strong>g>instructi<strong>on</strong></str<strong>on</strong>g>s in this manual, is declined.<br />
Use<br />
The cooker hood is provided with an upper air exit B for<br />
discharging fumes externally for models including chimney<br />
flue C ( Sucti<strong>on</strong> Versi<strong>on</strong> A- exhaust pipe not supplied).<br />
If cooking fumes <strong>and</strong> vapours cannot be externally discharged,<br />
the cooker hood can be used in the recirculating versi<strong>on</strong><br />
F: the installati<strong>on</strong> of 1 active charcoal filter F allows the<br />
recirculati<strong>on</strong> of fumes <strong>and</strong> vapours through the upper grid G.<br />
Electrical c<strong>on</strong>necti<strong>on</strong><br />
The electrical tensi<strong>on</strong> must corresp<strong>on</strong>d to the tensi<strong>on</strong> noted <strong>on</strong><br />
the label placed inside the cooker hood. Place a st<strong>and</strong>ards<br />
approved bipolar switch with an aperture distance of not less<br />
than 3mm (accessible) from he c<strong>on</strong>tacts.<br />

You can make the 1 - 2 - 3. speed functi<strong>on</strong> for 5<br />
minutes, after which the hood switches off.<br />
To use this functi<strong>on</strong>, after having pressed the key to<br />
choose the desired speed, press again.<br />
Use the high sucti<strong>on</strong> speed in cases of c<strong>on</strong>centrated<br />
kitchen vapours. It is recommended that the cooker<br />
hood sucti<strong>on</strong> is switched <strong>on</strong> for 5 minutes prior to<br />
cooking <strong>and</strong> to leave in operati<strong>on</strong> during cooking <strong>and</strong><br />
for another 15 minutes approximately after terminating<br />
cooking.<br />
Maintenance<br />
Prior to any maintenance operati<strong>on</strong> ensure that the cooker hood<br />
is disc<strong>on</strong>nected from the electrical outlet.<br />
Cleaning:<br />
The cooker hood should be cleaned regularly internally <strong>and</strong><br />
externally.For cleaning use a cloth moistened with denatured<br />
alcohol or neutral liquid detergents. Avoid abrasive detergents.<br />
Warning: Failure to carry out the basic st<strong>and</strong>ards of the cleaning<br />
of the cooker hood <strong>and</strong> replacement of the filters may cause fire<br />
risks. Therefore we recommend observing these <str<strong>on</strong>g>instructi<strong>on</strong></str<strong>on</strong>g>s.<br />
Anti-grease Filter – must be cleaned <strong>on</strong>ce a m<strong>on</strong>th, with n<strong>on</strong><br />
abrasive detergents, by h<strong>and</strong> or in dishwasher <strong>on</strong> low temperature<br />
<strong>and</strong> short cycle.<br />
When washed in a dishwasher, the grease filter may discolour<br />
slightly, but this does not affect its filtering capacity.<br />
Charcoal Filter - (<strong>on</strong>ly for filter versi<strong>on</strong>):<br />
The active charcoal filters F are not washable nor regenerative.<br />
It should be changed every 6 m<strong>on</strong>ths in normal use.<br />
The active charcoal filters capture unpleasant cooking odours.<br />
Replacing lightbulbs<br />
Warning! Prior to touching the light bulbs ensure they are cooled<br />
down.<br />
Open the light cover by pressing with a finger the part marked<br />
„push“.<br />
Replace the dead bulb.<br />
Use <strong>on</strong>ly a halogen bulb of 20W max (G4), taking care not to<br />
touch it with naked h<strong>and</strong>s.<br />

Close the light cover.<br />
LED LIGHT<br />
If the lighting group LED does not work, please c<strong>on</strong>tact the<br />
technical service center in order to replace the whole<br />
group.<br />

Cauti<strong>on</strong><br />
This appliance is designed to be operated by adults. Children<br />
should not be allowed to tamper with the c<strong>on</strong>trols or play with<br />
the appliance.<br />
Do not use the cooker hood where the grill is not correctly fixed!<br />
The sucti<strong>on</strong>ed air must not be c<strong>on</strong>veyed in the same channel<br />
used for fumes discharged by appliances powered by other than<br />
electricity. The envir<strong>on</strong>ment must always be adequately aerated<br />
when the cooker hood <strong>and</strong> other appliances powered by other<br />
than electricity are used at the same time. Flambé cooking with<br />
a cooker hood is prohibited. The use of a free flame is damaging<br />
to the filters <strong>and</strong> may cause fire accidents, therefore free flame<br />
cooking must be avoided. Frying of foods must be kept <str<strong>on</strong>g>und</str<strong>on</strong>g>er<br />
close c<strong>on</strong>trol in order to avoid overheated oil catching fire.<br />
Carry out fumes discharging in accordance with the regulati<strong>on</strong>s<br />
in force by local laws for safety <strong>and</strong> technical restricti<strong>on</strong>s.<br />
This appliance is marked according to the European directive<br />
2002/96/EC <strong>on</strong> Waste Electrical <strong>and</strong> Electr<strong>on</strong>ic Equipment (WEEE).<br />
By ensuring this product is disposed of correctly, you will help<br />
prevent potential negative c<strong>on</strong>sequences for the envir<strong>on</strong>ment<br />
<strong>and</strong> human health, which could otherwise be caused by<br />
inappropriate waste h<strong>and</strong>ling of this product.<br />
