Offers internship opportunities for US and Canadian stu<strong>de</strong>nts in the German<br />

parliament, the Bun<strong>de</strong>stag. The internships are two months long in positions matching<br />

the stu<strong>de</strong>nt’s interest and experience. Interns will be placed with their preferred<br />

Fraktion, Ausschuss, with individual members of the Bun<strong>de</strong>stag and their offices. In<br />

addition to contributing to the respective offices, interns have the opportunity to study<br />

legislative and administrative procedures in the German parliament.<br />

<strong>Le</strong> ministère <strong>de</strong> l’éducation du Québec offre <strong>de</strong>s postes d’assistants <strong>de</strong> langue<br />

française au Royaume-Uni, en Irlan<strong>de</strong> ou en Allemagne. Fonction : soutenir le<br />

professeur <strong>de</strong> français pendant 12 heures en organisant <strong>de</strong>s activités qui favorisent la<br />

compréhension auditive <strong>et</strong> l’expression orale auprès d’adolescents dont la langue<br />

maternelle n’est pas le français. Stage <strong>de</strong> 8 <strong>à</strong> 9 mois. Allocation brute <strong>de</strong> 1170 <strong>à</strong><br />

1500 $ par mois.<br />

Tahoe-Baïkal Institute Summer Environnemental Exchange<br />

Lieu<br />

The Tahoe-Baikal Institute's Summer Environmental Exchange (SEE) is a 10-week<br />

experiential, place-based watershed education and lea<strong>de</strong>rship <strong>de</strong>velopment program<br />

hosted at Lake Tahoe in the USA and Lake Baikal in southern Siberia, Russia. The<br />

program's primary themes are watershed protection, sustainable <strong>de</strong>velopment, and<br />

cultural exchange. The program enters its 19th year in 2009 and will bring tog<strong>et</strong>her<br />

up to eighteen young environmental lea<strong>de</strong>rs from North America, Russia, and other<br />

parts of the world to study environmental science and policy, participate in research<br />

and restoration projects, experience the beauty of two of the world's premier<br />

freshwater ecosystems, and make friendships to last a lif<strong>et</strong>ime.<br />
