Protecting the environment for decades As a leading ceramics specialist, AGROB BUCHTAL stands for short, CO 2 -saving transport routes to warehouses as well as dust and flue gas cleaning plants. Recycling is another top priority: process water and broken pieces are recycled by up to 100% and energy consumption has decreased considerably thanks to the use of heat exchangers. As purely natural products, all tile series can be recycled even after many years of use. One particular highlight – made in Germany – is represented by innovative HT surface upgrading: ensuring optimum cleaning and a pleasant room environment. Protection de l‘environnement depuis des décennies En tant que spécialiste du secteur de la céramique, leader dans son domaine, AGROB BUCHTAL milite pour la réduction des voies de transport vers les entrepôts et, par la même, des émissions de CO 2 et pour la généralisation des installations de traitement des poussières et des gaz de combustion. HT: Die revolutionäre Veredelung The revolutionary coating Le traitement de révolutionnaire HT: Das Prinzip HT ist eine langlebige Veredelung, die für bessere Luftqualität sorgt. Neben müheloser Abreinigung von Schmutz, lassen mit HT veredelte Fliesen unangenehm riechende und auch schädliche Stoffe in der Luft verschwinden. Diese Schadstoffe werden verursacht z. B. durch Zigarettenrauch, Ammoniak, Rückstände von Sprays, Formaldehyd aus Textilien, usw. Die Veredelung HT bewirkt zusammen mit Licht und Luftfeuchtigkeit eine Umwandlung schäd licher Moleküle in z. B. harmloses Kohlendioxid und Wasser. Das Wirkprinzip ist mit dem der Photosynthese vergleichbar. Titandioxid (TiO 2 ) wird als Katalysator bei hoher Temperatur eingebrannt und löst eine Reaktion zwischen Licht, Sauer stoff und Luftfeuchtigkeit aus. Die Effekte verbrauchen sich nicht, sondern werden durch Licht immer wieder aktiviert. HT: the principle HT is a very durable coating which ensures an improved quality of the air. Besides the effortless elimination of dirt, tiles with HT coating make malodorous and harmful substances in the air disappear. These pollutants are caused, e.g. by cigarette smoke, ammonia, residues of sprays, formaldehyde from textiles etc. In conjunction with light and air humidity, the HT coating effects the transformation of noxious molecules, e.g. in harmless carbon dioxide and water. This principle of action is comparable with that of photosynthesis. Titanium dioxide (TiO 2 ) is baked onto the glaze as a catalyst at high temperature and effects a reaction between light, oxygen and air humidity. The effects are permanently conserved, as they are always reactivated by light. HT : le principe HT est une finition d’une grande durabilité qui contribue à améliorer la qualité de l’air. Outre l’élimination facile de la saleté, les carreaux à finition HT font disparaître les substances malodorantes et même nocives présentes dans l’air. Ces polluants proviennent notamment de la fumée de cigarette, de l’ammoniaque, des résidus de sprays et du formaldéhyde des textiles. Associée à la lumière et à l’humidité de l’air, la finition de surface HT favorise la transformation de molécules nocives par ex. en dioxydes de carbone et en eau, inoffensifs pour la santé. Ce principe de fonctionnement est comparable à celui de la photosynthèse. Le dioxyde de titane (TiO 2 ) qui est intégré à l’émail par cuisson à haute température sert de catalyseur et déclenche une réaction entre la lumière, l’oxygène et l’humidité présente dans l’atmosphère. Les effets ne diminuent avec le temps. Le phénomène est constamment réactivé par la lumière.
