La gare de Delémont figure parmi les plus importantes de Suisse de par son trafic. Construite en
1875, ce fut le début de 40 années de développement intensif et de progrès technique croissant. A sa
construction, on doit le début d’une nouvelle partie de la ville appelée «quartier de la gare»; dernière
rénovation, aménagement de jets d’eau, 2004-2005.
Der Bahnhof von Delémont ist vom Verkehrsaufkommen her einer der wichtigsten der Schweiz. Er
wurde 1875 gebaut. Dem Bau folgten 40 Jahre intensiver Entwicklung und technischen Fortschritts.
Mit dem Bau des Bahnhofs beginnt auch die Entwicklung eines ganz neuen Stadtteils, des “Quartier
de la gare“. Letzte Renovation mit Wasserfontänen 2004-2005.
Delémont’s train station is one of the most important train stations in Switzerland based on the sheer
volume of rail traffic. The construction of the station in 1875 marked the beginning of 40 years of
intensive development and technical progress. It signaled the beginning of the development of a new
part of the city aptly named “the Train Station Neighborhood”. In 2004-2005 the city added water
fountains to its many attractions.
