HALLUCINATORY SPACE OF FICTION...

La gamine, l’homme maigre, le facteur, le laitier, la femme pâle, le gendarme. Un constat d’impuissance devant le surgissement
d’événements inattendus et catastrophiques. Il s’agit du tourment des figures suite à un drame. La vidéo est construite à partir de
séries photographiques avec un logiciel d’interpolation d’images. Le décor choisi est fixe, les acteurs évoluent très lentement par
étape et décomposent leurs mouvements dans l’espace. Les regards, le placement, les attitudes des acteurs se construisent autour
du drame. L’ordinateur fournit les images intermédiaires entre une image x et une x+1 pour lier ces images dans l’optique d’un déplacement
des sujets dans la séquence. Avec cette technique, les corps sont soumis à la machine et deviennent des “figures”. L’ordinateur nous
procure un certain type d’artefacts suite à des erreurs d’interprétation. Les corps se disloquent, génèrent avec leurs environnements
des confusions. La situation est surnaturelle. FR
The kid, the thin man, the postman, the slag, the pale woman, the policeman. An
acknowledgement of impotence in front of the sudden appearance of unexpected
and catastrophic events. It acts of the torment of the figures following a drama.
The video is built starting from photographic series with a software of interpolation
of images. The selected decoration is fixed, the actors evolve/move very slowly by
stage and break up their movements in space. The glances, the placement, the
attitudes of the actors are built around the drama. The computer provides the
intermediate images between an image x and a x+1 to bind these images with a
view to a displacement of the subjects in the sequence. With this technique, the
bodies are subjected to the machine and become "figures". The computer gets to
us a certain type of artifacts following mistakes in interpretation. The bodies are
dislocated, generate with their environments of confusions. The situation is
supernatural. FR
