Nicolas Delos
ND
black universe, in which, however, there is a vibration, a vibration of life… Whether it be in
mental illness, in the atmosphere of a room, in a look or a manhole… It is this little something
which gives me this vibration that I am interested in, that I am looking to reveal. ND
France Dubois Payne’s grey 2003, 5 mn
FD
Payne’s grey is a medium grey verging to blue, a mix of Mars black, zinc white
and Prussian blue or even ultramarine blue. FD
Alexandre Michon Don Quichotte 2006, 8 mn
AM
This is an adaptation of a short extract from the work by Cervantes. The lines of Sancho
and the descriptions of the narrator have been suppressed. The text forms a sort of
monologue. Don Quichotte forcefully describes the details of the arrival of imaginary
armies which he is preparing to fight. The armies in the form of tin cans, evoking the
pyramids of tins at fairground stalls and a Spanish theme tune on the barrel organ
underline the idea of a fairground. AM
