Dumontier & Maghraoui - IFRS et fourchettes de prix inférieur à celui des secondes. Ce résultat trouve sa justification dans la complexité des activités des firmes à faible informativité des chiffres comptables. Au terme de ce travail, nous estimons que l’imposition généralisée des IFRS à toutes les entreprises européennes cotées devrait avoir des effets bénéfiques en termes de réduction de l’asymétrie d’information, ces effets dépendants toutefois de l’environnement informationnel et de l’informativité des chiffres comptables des firmes concernées. Il apparaît en particulier que l’adoption des IFRS devrait être d’autant plus bénéfique que les analystes et investisseurs s’intéressent à la firme. On peut aussi raisonnablement anticiper que l’effet d’apprentissage mis en évidence ici se réduira vite, les investisseurs étant censées se familiariser rapidement aux spécificités des IFRS. 32
