FROM BACH TO BERLIN AT THE OTTAWA CHAMBER MUSIC SOCIETY<br />
Timed for Remembrance Day, the Ottawa Chamber Music Society presents<br />
For the Fallen on November 14 at the Dominion-Chalmers United<br />
Church. Led by Michael Zaugg, the Cantata Singers of Ottawa and Capital<br />
BrassWorks will perform works ranging from Bach to Ola Gjeilo.<br />
Thanks to the OCMS, audiences have the chance to hear the renowned<br />
Württemburg Chamber Orchestra of Heilbronn, an ensemble that rarely<br />
appears in Canada. They perform works by Elgar, Britten and more on<br />
November 26 and a Berlin-themed concert on November 27 that includes<br />
Karsten Gundermann’s The Fall of the Berlin Wall and Paul Frehner’s Berliner<br />
Konzert. Comprising the artistic directors of the OCMS, the Gryphon Trio<br />
joins the chamber orchestra November 27 to perform Martinu’s darkly<br />
