DISTRIBUTIONS DE MASSE DES HEXAMÈRES 4 Conclusion Le bon accord entre les masses théoriques les plus probables et les masses observées en ESI- MS supramoléculaire suggère que 3 sous-unités lourdes sont préférentiellement incorporées dans les hexamères d’Hc de Carcinus maenas. D’un point de vue quantitatif, cela suggère que ces sous-unités seraient plus abondantes que les autres dans les fractions hexamèriques. Il est intéressant de noter que pour les échantillons d’hexamères purifiés analysés en ESI-MS en conditions dénaturantes, les sous-unités légères ont une abondance relative moyenne de 0,196 ± 0,048 et 0,195 ± 0,104 (sousunités de 73922 Da et 74043 Da) et les sous-unités lourdes une abondance relative moyenne de 0,249 ± 0,072 et 0,244 ± 0,13 (sous-unités de 75073 Da et 75187 Da). Même s’il n’est pas rigoureux de comparer les abondances relatives de sous-unités différentes tant qu’il n’a pas été vérifié qu’elles étaient ionisées de la même manière, ces proportions vont dans le sens de sous-unités lourdes plus abondantes. Une séparation et un dosage des sous-unités par chromatographie d’affinité par exemple permettrait de vérifier cette hypothèse.
