Operation<br />
Activating the filter change reminder<br />

NOTE<br />
►► In order for the filter change reminder to function, the<br />
appliance must remain connected to the mains power and<br />
the time set as described in the section Setting the time.<br />
Press the "Filter" button (29) to activate the filter change<br />
reminder.<br />
The ☺ symbol appears in the display. The symbol will start flashing<br />
after 70 coffees were brewed. Replace the activated carbon filter<br />
as described in the section Replacing the activated carbon filter.<br />
Using an insulated flask<br />
The appliance comes with the double-walled stainless steel<br />
insulated flask.<br />
CAUTION<br />
The bottom of the insulated flask becomes hot when coffee<br />
is being brewed.<br />
Observe the following instructions to avoid damage:<br />
►► Place the insulated flask only onto a heat-resistant surface.<br />
To close the insulated flask place the lid as shown and turn it<br />
to the left up to stop.<br />
