8.8 ATEX-Encoder, solid shaft with flat, flange type 1+3 (see data sheet 7014SIL)<br />
The fixing of the solid shaft encoder is carried out using the threaded holes provided in the flange<br />
and at least three M4 screws; these are to be tightened with a recommended torque of 2,5Nm and<br />
secured against loosening. The connection of the shaft to the drive must be effected using a tolerance<br />
compensating element and secured against loosening.<br />
When connecting the solid shaft, the operator, operating company or installation company, which is<br />
installing the encoder, must ensure that the fixing method complies with the safety requirements in<br />
