8.6 Encoder, hollow shaft with clamping ring and SIL stator coupling, flange type B<br />

(see data sheet 58x4SIL)<br />

The fixing screw of the clamping ring must be tightened with a recommended torque of 2.5 Nm. For<br />

fixing the stator coupling four M3 screws, must be used, tightened with a recommended torque of<br />

1Nm and secured against loosening. The operator, operating company or installation company, which<br />

is installing the encoder, must ensure that the fixing method complies with the safety requirements in<br />

force.<br />

Max. permissible tolerances of the shaft connection:<br />

- Axial offset: 0.50 mm (+/-0.25 mm)<br />

- Radial offset: +/- 0.20 mm<br />

- Angular misalignment symmetry: 1°<br />

The fastening screw of the clamping ring must be tightened with a torque of 2.5 Nm.<br />

The assembly instructions are supplied with the encoder. They are to be respected by the machine<br />

manufacturer when mounting the torque stops:<br />

- R.60019. for torque stop with pin<br />

- R.60020. for flexible torque stop<br />
