9. Malfunctions and remedial measure faults
Faults
Fault display control unit
High water floater 2+ high water
sensor
Water level in the aeration chamber
has exceeded maximum level.
Danger of plant overflowing.
Causes
- Level set too low
- Feed quantity too high
- Clear water syphon defective or
clogged
- Water cannot drain off.
Backup
Elimination
- Setting to 150 cm
- Checking the plant's feed quantities
- Checking the clear water syphon's
hydraulic performance
and cleaning it if necessary
- Providing free drainage in the
sampling duct.
Low water sensor:
Water level in the aeration chamber
has dropped below the minimum
level.
- Level set too high
- Plant not sufficiently filled after
maintenance
- Tank leaky
- Setting to 80 cm
- Filling the plant with 1.20 m of
water
- Sealing the tank
Excess pressure:
Exceeding the maximum
set pressure of the
pressure monitoring system
- Pressure set too low
- Compressor builds up excessive
backpressure:
- Valve block does not switch
- Vent hose is kinked
- Air syphons are clogged
- Aerator spark plug is clogged
- Setting to 350 mbar
- Checking and if necessary replacing
the valve block
- Removing any kinks
- Cleaning the air syphons
- Cleaning the aerator spark plug
Negative pressure:
Falling below the maximum set
pressure of the pressure monitoring
system
- Pressure is set too high
- Compressor does not work or
works only inadequately
- Leak inside the INNO-CLEAN ®
system
- Setting to 10 mbar
- Checking the compressor's
efficiency (see chapter
"Maintenance")
- Checking all connections and
hoses for possible leakages
Overcurrent
(Current consumption too high)
- Value set too low
- Defect on the compressor
- Setting to 2.0 A
- Replacing the electrical components
and if necessary testing by
a qualified electrician
Undercurrent
(Current consumption too low)
- Value set too high
- Compressor does not switch on
- Defective
- Internal microfuse in
control unit (3.15 A) has tripped
- Setting to 0.1 A
- Checking the compressor's
mains connection on the control
unit
- Replacement/ fuse
Battery voltage too low
- Battery defective or service life
exceeded
- Replacement battery
