Partie A – Chapitre 3 : Procédures expérimentales Ces essais se déroulent en trois étapes : 1. Préparation des éprouvettes et pulvérisation du mouchetis. 2. Préparation du montage : L’éprouvette montée dans les mors est mise en contact avec l’élément chauffant. Elle doit rester en contact tout au long de l’essai. L’éprouvette est chauffée jusqu’à avoir une répartition homogène de la température sur toute la partie centrale de l’éprouvette. Le champ de températures dans l’éprouvette est contrôlé par une caméra thermique. La caméra thermique est remplacée par la caméra CCD. 3. L’acquisition des images se fait dans les mêmes conditions que pour l’essai de traction simple. Conclusion Le matériau de cette étude est un alliage de NiTi. Le traitement thermique choisi permet d’avoir un comportement superélastique mais à partir de 30°C. Les différentes configurations d’essais pour la caractérisation du matériau ont été décrites : géométries d’éprouvette (altère, Meuwissen et cruciforme), machines d’essai (uniaxiale et multiaxiale), systèmes de chauffage, procédures d’extraction et de traitement des résultats. La géométrie complexe de certaines éprouvettes, l’hétérogénéité des champs de déformations nécessite l’utilisation de techniques de mesure de champs cinématiques. Le principe de la corrélation d’images a été détaillé. Une attention particulière a été portée sur la description du logiciel utilisé (Vic-2D). Pour certains essais en température les images doivent être prises à travers la vitre de l’enceinte thermique. Il a été montré que, dans ces conditions particulières, la qualité des mesures de déformations n’est pas affectée. Les résultats des différents essais de caractérisation du comportement superélastique à plusieurs températures sont présentés dans le chapitre suivant. 3.6.
