enjoyment out of your new DALBELLO ski boots we suggest you carefully read<br />

the information in this booklet.<br />

WARNING TO SKIERS<br />

Skiing is a challenging activity that may also be hazardous. The sport of skiing<br />

and the use of ski equipment involve a risk of injury to anyand all parts of the<br />

user’s body. Ski Boots, which are support <strong>de</strong>vices, make up a part of the ski/<br />

boot/ binding system, and may contribute to the risk of injuries to the lower<br />

leg and the knee. The ski/ boot/ binding system will not release at all times nor<br />

un<strong>de</strong>r all circumstances where a release may have prevented injury or <strong>de</strong>ath. It<br />

is not possible to predict every situation in which this system will release. Its<br />

use cannot guarantee a skier’s safety or freedom from injury while skiing.<br />

SKIER RESPONSIBILITY CODE<br />

1) ALWAYS SKI IN CONTROL. Make sure you are able to stop to avoid other<br />

people or objects.<br />

2) Remember that PEOPLE AHEAD OF YOU HAVE THE RIGHT OF WAY. It is<br />

your responsibility to avoid them.<br />

3) NEVER STOP WHERE YOU OBSTRUCT A TRAIL or are not visible from<br />

above.<br />

4) LOOK UPHILL AND YIELD TO OTHERS whenever starting downhill or<br />

merging into a trail.<br />

5) ALWAYS USE DEVICES TO PREVENT RUNAWAY EQUIPMENT.<br />

6) OBSERVE ALL POSTED SIGNS AND WARNINGS. Keep off closed trails<br />

and out of closed areas.<br />

7) MAKE SURE YOU KNOW HOW TO USE THE LIFTS. Prior to using any lift,<br />

you must have the knowledge to load, to ri<strong>de</strong>, and to unload safely.<br />

The Skier’s Responsibility is not limited to the above points.<br />

In addition, you should be in good physical condition, and you<br />

should never ski when you are tired, or un<strong>de</strong>r the influence of<br />

alcohol or drugs.<br />
