Note No. 1 (1126/67) Your Excellency, Her Majesty's Ambassador at Asunci6n to the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Paraguay BRITISH EMBASSY Asunci6n, 19 January, 1967 On the 23rd of November 1966, Your Excellency and I exchanged Notes temporarily prolonging until the 27th of January 1967, the current Agreement between the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the Government of Paraguay on Trade and Payments. 2 Since the new terminal date is rapidly approaching and since negotiations for the definitive renewal of the Agreement are not yet completed, I have the honour to propose that the Agreement be again temporarily prolonged, as it stands, for a further period of two months, until the 27th of March 1967. 2. If this proposal is acceptable to the Government of Paraguay I have the honour to suggest that Your Excellency's reply in that sense and this Note should be regarded as constituting an Agreement between the two Governments in this matter. 3. I avail myself of this opportunity to renew to Your Excellency the assurances of my highest consideration. L. A. On the 23rd of November 1966, Your Excellency and I exchanged Notes<br />

temporarily prolonging until the 27th of January 1967, the current Agreement<br />

between the Government of the <strong>United</strong> Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern<br />

Ireland and the Government of Paraguay on Trade and Payments. 2 Since the new<br />

terminal date is rapidly approaching and since negotiations for the definitive<br />
