PHENOTYPIC AND PHENOLOGICAL BEHAVIOURS OF CLONES OF NATURAL POPULATIONS OF ATRIPLEX HALIMUS ◆
two population. Marrakech and Idelssen populations
did not differ significantly (P < 0.05) in their inflorescence
length. In non-irrigated treatment, the length of
inflorescence was decreased significantly for the three
populations (table 3).
Number of inflorescence ramifications
Inflorescence ramification number differ significantly
between the treatment. In irrigated treatment, the three
population presented a hight number of inflorescence
ramifications than in non-irrigated treatment. Sidi Bouzid
and Marrakech populations presented the highest values
(table 3).
FRUITING
The statistical data showed that the population (origin
of the plant material) and the interaction of population
by treatment generates a highly significant variability (P
< 0.001) for the rate of immature seeds and the rate
of infestation (table 4). Treatment generates a highly
significant effect of Individuals for the mass of 100
mature seeds. Marrakech and Sidi Bouzid populations
have presented the most important rates of immature
seeds (table 5) in irrigated treatment. In non-irrigated
treatment, the immature seeds decreased significantly in
Marrakech population, while they increased significantly
in Idelssen population. For the rates of infestation, the
