THIRD AMENDMENT ' TO THE AGREEMENT OF 29 APRIL 1953 BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT
OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND THE IMPERIAL ETHIOPIAN GOVERNMENT.
SIGNED AT ADDIS ABABA, ON 11 JUNE 1954

The Public Health Joint Fund Agreement signed at Addis Ababa on April 29, 1953,2
is amended as follows
1. In addition to the deposits previously pledged by this Agreement, as amended, 3
the Government of the United States of America shall deposit to the credit of the
Joint Fund the sum of $ 50,000.00 (Fifty Thousand Dollars) in the currency of the
United States of America for the period through June 30, 1954.
2. The Imperial Ethiopian Government in addition to obligations previously assumed
by this Agreement, as amended, shall deposit to the credit of the Joint Fund the sum
of 8 100,000.00 (One Hundred Thousand Dollars) in the currency of the Imperial
Ethiopian Government for the period through June 30, 1954.
DONE at Addis Ababa the eleventh day of June, Nineteen Hundred and Fifty-Four.
