Article 7.
En consideration de son consentement au
maintien sur le territoire de l'Inde fran~aise,
dans les conditions d6termin6es par la pr~sente
convention, des bureaux de poste anglo-indiens
enum~r6s h l'article premier, le Gouvernement
des Etablissements frangais dans l'Inde recevra
annuellement du Gouvernement de l'Inde une
somme de cinquante mille roupies dont le
paiement sera effectu6 en un versement le
20 septembre de chaque annie.
Le premier versement aura lieu le 20 septembre
1931.
Article 8.
La pr6sente convention est valable pour une
duroe de sept ann~es, h compter de la date de
sa signature.
Elle sera renouvelable par tacite reconduction
pour des p~riodes successives de sept annes si
l'une des Parties contractantes n'a pas signifi6
l'autre, par pr~avis, deux ann~es avant
l'expiration de la duroe en cours de la convention,
son intention de modifier ou de faire
cesser les effets de celle-ci.
Fait h Pondich~ry, en double exemplaire, le
sept mars mil neuf cent trente et un.

Article 7.
In return for its consent to the maintenance
on French Indian soil of the British Indian
Postal Offices mentioned in Article i, on the
conditions laid down by the present Convention,
the Government of the French Settlements in
India will receive annually from the Government
of British India the sum of fifty thousand
rupees. The payment of this sum will be
made on or before the 2oth September of each
year.
The first payment will be made on or before
the 2oth September 1931.
Article 8.
The present Convention is valid for a period
of seven years from the date of signature.
It will be automatically renewed for successive
periods of seven years if either of the Contracting
Parties has not given to the other notice,
two full years before the expiry of the Convention,
of its intention to modify or terminate
the said Convention.
Done at Pondicherry, in duplicate, on the
seventh day of March in the year one thousand
nine hundred and thirty one.
