ENG 10 UNPACKING AND ASSEMBLY<br />

Push the pin in using a hammer, ensuring that it comes completely through to the<br />

opposite side.<br />

NOTE To avoid damaging the steering wheel with the hammer, use<br />

an awl or a screw-driver of the same size as the pin to push it in the last part.<br />

FITTING THE SEAT<br />

The seat (1) is supplied attached to a<br />

support bracket (2) on which has been fitted<br />

a micro-switch (3). Fit the bracket to<br />

the supports (4) using the screw pins (5)<br />

supplied, fully tightening the relative nuts<br />

(6).<br />

! WARNING! Connect the micro-switch socket (7) to the one coming<br />

from the general wiring (8) to ensure that the safety device works, and<br />

then fasten the wire with the wire-holder (9).<br />

CONNECTING THE BATTERY<br />

The battery (1) is situated in a compartment<br />

under the steering wheel and is reached<br />

by removing the plastic cover (2)<br />

held on by two screws (3).<br />

Connect the two red cables (4) to the<br />

positive terminal (+) and the three black<br />

cables (5) to the negative terminal (–)<br />

using the supplied screws and following<br />

the illustrated sequence.<br />

Recharge the battery according to the<br />

manufacturer's instructions.<br />
