of Route III in Schedule I to that Agreement
shall be amended to show " Hong
Kong or a point in the Philippines " instead
of " Hong Kong ".
If the Government of India accept that
amendment I propose that this note and
your reply to that effect shall be regarded
as constituting an agreement between our
two Governments in this matter, which
shall enter into force on this day's date.
I avail myself of this opportunity to
renew to Your Excellency the assurance
of my highest consideration.

Si cette modification rencontre l'agr6ment
du Gouvernement de l'Inde, je propose

consid~r~es comme constituant entre nos
deux Gouvernements un accord en la
mati~re, qui entrera en vigueur la date
de ce jour.
