The Government of the United Kingdom declares that the Charter should extend to the
Isle of Man, being a territory for whose international relations the Government of the
United Kingdom is responsible.
As a consequence of the extension of the Charter to the Isle of Man, the Manx Gaelic language
will be a "regional or minority language" for the purposes of the Charter and
accordingly Part II of the Charter will henceforth apply to the Manx Gaelic language.

Le Gouvernement du Royaume-Uni d6clare que la Charte s'applique A l'Ile de Man, territoire
dont le Gouvernement du Royaume-Uni assure les relations internationales.
En consequence de l'extension de la Charte A l'Ile de Man, le ga6lique de l'Ile de Man est
une aux fins de la Charte et ]a Partie II de la Charte
s'applique donc d6sormais au ga6lique de l'Ile de Man.
