DIET<br />

To avoid interference with this test, by the presence of certain food by-products, which could result in falsely<br />

elevated levels, it is recommended that certain foods be avoided before and during the 24 hours urine<br />

collection.<br />

For 2 days before and during the day of the urine collection, you must not eat any of the following foods or<br />

food preparations that contain them.<br />

DO NOT EAT:<br />

Pineapples<br />

Eggplants<br />

Avocados<br />

Almonds, peanuts, peanut butter, nuts<br />

Bananas, plantain<br />

Cantaloupe, water melon and honey melon<br />

Kiwis, papaya<br />

Grape fruit<br />

Prunes, plumes<br />

Tomato and /or vegetable juice<br />

NOTE: It is highly recommended that you read the list of ingredients on the label of any product before<br />

consuming it.<br />

ATTENTION: The container used to collect your urine could contain an acid. It is very important to carefully<br />

read the safety recommendations that came with the container.<br />

CONSERVATION: Keep in the refrigerator for 1-3 days. Do not freeze.<br />
