In order to avoid interference, of this test, with the presence of certain food substances which could give<br />
falsely elevated results, it is recommended to avoid certain foods before and during the 24 hours urine<br />
collection.<br />
You must not eat any of the following foods as well as any preparations that contain them for 2 days<br />
before and during the day of the collection.<br />
DO NOT EAT:<br />
Bananas<br />
Coffee, tea<br />
Chocolate, cacao<br />
Citrus fruits and their juices (grapefruits, oranges, lemons, limes, clementines, tangerines, etc.)<br />
Cola (Pepsi, coke)<br />
Tomatoes<br />
Vanilla (foods containing vanilla)<br />
NOTE : It is highly recommended that you carefully read the list of ingredients on the label of any food<br />
before eating it.<br />
ATTENTION : The container used to collect your urine could contain an acid. It is very important to<br />
carefully read the safety instructions that came with the container.<br />
CONSERVATION : Keep in the refrigerator for 1-3 days. Do not freeze.<br />
