Your doctor asked you to collect your urines for one day. You have a container to keep your urines.
Here is how to proceed:
• At the hour given void in the toilet. The dosage starts at the moment when your
bladder is emptied. Note at this moment the time on the container. That is the start of the collect.

• At each urine miction, you empty your urine inside the container for exactly a period of 24 hours.
• Twenty-four hours after the start of your collect, you must void and put the last urine in the container.
• Your urinary collect is now finished. Write on the container the date and time of the end of your collect.

• The morning you finish your collect, bring the container to the Blood Center at the CHUS Fleurimont or
Hotel-Dieu.
• The container can be conserved 1 to 3 days at refrigerator. Do not freeze.
