"the Sayyid proved deft enough to utilise the chaotic and turbulent
conditions to their advantage and missed no opportunity to entrench
themselves in various layers of power structure. (...) They cornered high
positions and lucrative offices for themselves and for their kinsmen. Rich
and affluent they married in royal and prestigious families. dazzled and
baffled by the enormity of their wealth and assets the native converts
seethed with anger and burning in their hearts as they were treated as low
as dust, an expression of SRIVAR, a noted historican in Kashmir. (...)
Under the hegemony of Sayyids the hindus could not even lodge a
complaint if their properties were looted or trespassed.
(...) A vaishnavite Brahman, Muni, rose in open revolt against Sayyids
oppressors who were out to decimate the whole race of Hindus in
Kashmir. The homes and hhearths of muni were ruthlessly ravaged and
destroyed "
[KOUL, 2002b].
"The native rishis, as model of asceticism and quietism with no interest in
affairs mondane walked not in harmony but total discord with the foreign
Sayyid-sufis out to spill blood in the name of God. They were holymen of
peace, harmony, piety, non violence and non-injury."
sohrawardi Jalaluddin Makhdum « JAHANIAN JAHANGASHT » (1308-1384 AD ). En
effet, si Jalaluddin Makhdum « JAHANIAN JAHANGASHT » séjourna bien durablement
