6. Article 12 of the agreement is hereby amended by the deletion of the words
or any provision of the agreement entered into pursuant to the provisions of paragraphs
(1) and (2) of article 10 between the airlines concerned" and by the deletion
in the proviso to that paragraph of the words "or of any provision of the agreement
between the airlines concerned".
I desire to confirm that the foregoing correctly expresses the understanding between
our two Governments and that your Note and this reply are regarded as constituting
an agreement between the two Governments by which the existing agreement dated
the 17th September, 1954, is amended.
