The Royal Netherlands Legation has the honour to inform the Minister
of Foreign Affairs that the Royal Dutch Airlines Company (KLM) intends to land
at Munich on its flight KL-827 on the Amsterdam-Djakarta route, on the outward
journey only.
This stop will facilitate night stops on flight KL-827 and will meet the need
for an air route between Germany and the Far East.
Although the stop at Munich constitutes a new factor on the service KL-827,
the Legation hopes that there will be no opposition from the Italian authorities,
since complete agreement exists between the Italian companies and KLM regarding
the Munich-Rome route.
The Royal Netherlands Legation will be grateful to learn in the near future
whether the competent Italian authorities are prepared to agree to the above
change in flight KL-827.
The Royal Netherlands Legation avails itself of this opportunity to renew to
the Ministry of Foreign Affairs the assurance of its highest consideration.
