country armed and financed by our democratic regimes, in an atmosphere of general

of its villages, the forced depopulation if its towns and the decimation of its
intellegensia.

In the face of an intense disinformation campaign from Ankara, which tends
to reduce the problems and aspirations of Ibe 15 million Kurds in Thrkey to «PKK
terrorism-, the undersigned non-governmental organisations, which support the
Kurdish civilian population but oppose ail forms of violence, wish to bring the
following facts to Ibe attention of the public:
