sending of two delegations would do. There are
also a number of officials who believe Turkey is
"shoot!ng itself in the foot" by its defensive reflex-

of the now defunct pro-Kurdish
Democracy Party (DEP), were
arrested by the Ankara State
Security Court and sent to
prison on Tuesday. Sadak and

TURQUIE. La Cour de sûreté a
ordonné l'incarcération de
deux eX-députés kurdes, hier,
pour «séparatisme» ef « atteinte à
l'intégrité de l'Etat ». Selim Sadak et
Sedat Yurtdas. du Parti de la démocratie
(DEP, dissous), ont été écroués
à la prison centrale d'Ankara, où sont
emprisonnés depuis mars six autres
e~-députés du DEP. Tous sont passIbles
de la peine capitale.
