Éducation Manitoba a développé ce gui<strong>de</strong><br />

pédagogique afin <strong>de</strong> fournir aux enseignants <strong>de</strong> <strong>la</strong><br />

<strong>4e</strong> <strong>à</strong> <strong>la</strong> <strong>8e</strong> <strong>année</strong> <strong>de</strong>s outils essentiels pour intégrer<br />

<strong>la</strong> musique dans les cours <strong>de</strong> <strong>Français</strong> <strong>de</strong> <strong>base</strong> en<br />

présentant dix chansons folkloriques traditionnelles.<br />

Les chansons folkloriques ont été<br />

transmises par une tradition orale qui consiste <strong>à</strong><br />

chanter, <strong>à</strong> écouter et <strong>à</strong> répéter. Cette tradition<br />

permettra aux élèves non seulement d’apprendre<br />

sur <strong>la</strong> culture française, mais aussi <strong>de</strong> faire<br />

l’apprentissage <strong>de</strong> <strong>la</strong> <strong>la</strong>ngue secon<strong>de</strong>.<br />

Clientèle visée<br />

Le présent document est <strong>de</strong>stiné <strong>à</strong> l’enseignement<br />

du <strong>Français</strong> <strong>de</strong> <strong>base</strong> aux élèves <strong>de</strong> <strong>la</strong> <strong>4e</strong> <strong>à</strong> <strong>la</strong> <strong>8e</strong> <strong>année</strong>. Il présente toutefois <strong>de</strong>s idées et <strong>de</strong>s<br />

stratégies qui peuvent être utiles aux enseignants<br />

<strong>de</strong> tous les cours <strong>de</strong> <strong>Français</strong> <strong>de</strong> <strong>base</strong>.<br />

Dans les écoles où il y a un spécialiste <strong>de</strong><br />

musique, l’enseignant <strong>de</strong> <strong>Français</strong> <strong>de</strong> <strong>base</strong> est<br />

encouragé <strong>de</strong> partager ce document avec lui.<br />

Overview<br />

Manitoba Education, has <strong>de</strong>veloped this support<br />

document in or<strong>de</strong>r to provi<strong>de</strong> Gra<strong>de</strong>s 4 to 8<br />

teachers with the essential tools to integrate<br />

music into the Basic French c<strong>la</strong>ssroom by<br />

introducing ten traditional folk songs. Folk songs<br />

have been passed down through an oral tradition<br />

of singing, listening and repeating. This tradition<br />

will not only give the stu<strong>de</strong>nts the opportunity to<br />

learn about French culture, but also facilitate<br />

second <strong>la</strong>nguage learning.<br />

Target Audience<br />

This document is inten<strong>de</strong>d for use in gra<strong>de</strong>s<br />

4 to 8 Basic French c<strong>la</strong>ssrooms. However, the<br />

i<strong>de</strong>as and strategies presented in this document<br />

are also a valuable resource for teachers of all<br />

Basic French c<strong>la</strong>sses.<br />

In schools where there is a music specialist, the<br />

Basic French teacher is encouraged to share this<br />

document with him.<br />
