19 rebelles kurdes tués dans le sud-est anatolien
ANKARA, 13 sept (AFP)- Dix-neuf rebelles kurdes ont été tués lundi par
des forces de l'ordre turque lors d'accrochages dans le sud-est anatolien à
majorité kurde, a-t-on annoncé officiellement.
Six membres du Parti des Travailleurs du Kurdistan (PKK, séparatiste) sont
morts à Toptepe, près de Sirnak, à la frontière avec l'Irak, indique un
communiqu. de la super-préfecture de Diyarbakir, chargée de la coordination de
la lutte contre le PKK. '
Dans la région de Bingoi (est), cinq rebelles ont également été tués et
huit autres dans les régions de Siirt, Tunceli et de Van, selon ce même
commun iqlJé.
Plus de 7.000 personnes -militait~es, policiers, civils et rebelles- sont
morts depuis 1984, date à laquelle le PKK a déclenché dans le sud-est
anatolien une rébellion armée contre le pouvoir central d'Ankara.
