Transition radiatif-diffus Romain PIERRAT (CR CNRS) Aspects CND : EDF R&D, CEA A ceux-ci il faut ajouter deux étudiants dont je dirigerai les thèses au laboratoire, l’une portant sur matrices aléatoires appliquées au CND (volet appliqué du thème 2.1, financement EDF) et l’autre sur la modélisation de la propagation dans l’os poreux (volets appliqué et fondamental du thème 2.2, financement Fondation AXA pour la recherche) ainsi qu’un post-doc (thème 3, recrutement prévu en 2012-2013 sur financement ANR). Les axes 2.1 et 2.3 (uniquement leurs volets appliqués au CND) sont en partie communs au projet DiAMAN (Diffusion Acoustique dans les Milieux Aléatoires et Non-linéaires) financé par l’ANR d’octobre 2011 à septembre 2015 et dont je suis le responsable scientifique, mais ils n’en sont qu’une partie. Le thème 2 est totalement découplé de DiAMAN, et DiAMAN contient d’autres aspects (notamment ceux relatifs à la propagation en régime non-linéaire) que je n’ai pas mentionnés ici. En effet, je tiens à préciser que je n’ai mentionné dans ce projet que les axes de recherches dont je suis le responsable au laboratoire et pour lesquels mon implication scientifique sera majeure. Les thèmes de recherches de mon laboratoire ou les collaborations extérieures pour lesquels ma participation est réelle mais minoritaire n’ont délibérément pas été listés dans mon projet de recherches (c’est le cas, par exemple de la propagation d’ultrasons en régime non-linéaire dans les gels bulleux, en collaboration avec le laboratoire Matière et Systèmes Complexes-UMR 7057 ou de certains aspects de simulations numériques dans ces milieux en collaboration avec l’Institut Jean Le Rond d’Alembert-UMR 7190, ou encore de propagation ultrasonore dans le béton, avec l’IFSTTAR- Nantes). IV. Programmation prévisionnelle Les trois axes de recherches que je propose participent d’une même thématique (« ondes ultrasonores en milieux complexes ») mais ils sont totalement indépendants, dans le sens où le bon déroulement de l’un ne dépend aucunement de l’achèvement des autres. Je compte donc mener les trois simultanément, pendant les 5 années à venir. Je suis parfaitement conscient que le CRCT d’une année, que je souhaite étaler sur deux ans si cela est possible, est insuffisante pour cela, mais il me permettra de lancer prioritairement les deux premiers thème, qui seront prioritairement abordés, et devraient voir des résultats significatifs dès la fin des thèses prévues. Quant au troisième axe, il n’atteindra son plein régime qu’en 2013, avec le recrutement d’un post-doc pour 2 ans.
