After Dinner is a play about the difficult relationship between
a mother and her daughter: their clashes, their fight with the
father, their resurfacing past and the local villagers’ mocking
incomprehension. This is a play about two lost, damned souls, trying
to get on with their lives.
Après manger trace le portrait de la relation difficile entre une
mère et sa fille : leurs déchirures, leur combat avec le père, les
événements aliénants de leur passé et l’incompréhension narquoise
du village. Deux âmes perdues, damnées, qui essaient de retrouver le
fil de leur vie.
