And she must not simply read the diary, but also perform it to respect the terms of her grandmother’s will. Gradually, the woman overcomes her internal resistance and meets surprising characters while learning about unknown events that had occurred in her family. This play is a voyage into the depths of memory and the subconscious. Une femme pauvre hérite de manière inattendue d’une grand-mère américaine inconnue. Mais les conditions de cet héritage sont énigmatiques : l’héroïne doit lire le journal d’une jeune femme, une relation lointaine qui a été fusillée pendant la deuxième guerre mondiale. Et il ne suffit pas de le lire, mais il faut également le jouer pour respecter le testament de la grand-mère... Peu à peu la femme surmonte ses résistance intérieures et rencontre des personnages inattendus, tout en apprenant des événements inconnus de sa famille et de leur entourage... Un voyage dans les profondeurs de la mémoire et du subconscient...

Peter goes through a series of surprising adventures and strange encounters in his quest to find an answer, but always in vain. And then it appears that the answer always was right beside him. Such is the way of these questions – you don’t realise what’s right beside you until you see it from a distance. Peter, le protagoniste de cette pièce, se trouve face à une question aussi simple et éternelle que le monde: « Qu’est-ce qui existe sous le soleil qui ne peut pas être acheté pour un million de dollars ? » Ni la police, ni les anges, ni les démons ou la milice sont capables de répondre à cette question. Peter traverse une série d’aventures surprenantes et de rencontres étranges dans sa quête d’une réponse, mais c’est toujours en vain, jusqu’au moment où il comprend que la réponse se cachait toujours à ses côtés. C’est typique pour ce genre de questions, on ne se rend pas compte de ce qui est à côté de soi jusqu’à ce qu’on le voit avec une certaine distance. ukraine > ukraine + info > www.etc-cte.org 167
